BE NOT AFRAID

Isaiah 41:10

There are times when the words “Fear thou not” are easier to read than to believe.

Be Not Afraid brings that promise into a deeply human moment. Christ stands beside a weary traveller, His hand resting gently upon his shoulder. There is no grand spectacle and no crowd — only reassurance, presence and the quiet certainty that he does not walk alone.

Inspired by Isaiah's enduring words, the work speaks to anyone who has faced uncertainty, loss, fear or a road they never expected to travel.

The intimacy of the two figures is deliberately set against the scale of the landscape around them. Warm light falls across Christ and the traveller while the distant world softens behind them, creating a work that feels both cinematic and profoundly personal.

It is not an image that promises a life without difficult roads.

It carries a different promise:

you do not have to walk them alone.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.”
Isaiah 41:10

The Siloam Standard

Every Siloam artwork is created to be experienced as a piece of art, not simply reproduced as a poster.

Your Be Not Afraid is produced as a fine-art giclée print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, chosen for its beautifully soft texture, exceptional tonal depth and ability to reproduce the warmth, light and subtle painterly detail of the original work.

Each print is professionally presented in a solid wood frame from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards and selected to complement the artwork without competing with it.
