CHARGE OVER THEE

CHARGE OVER THEE
Psalm 91:11

There are moments when protection is felt before it is seen.

Charge Over Thee captures a weary traveller on a difficult mountain path, supported by the powerful presence of an angel at his side. His strength may be failing, but he has not been left to face the journey alone.

Inspired by Psalm 91, the work gives form to one of Scripture’s most enduring promises of divine protection — that even upon the hardest roads, there are forces of grace beyond what we can see.

The contrast between vulnerability and strength lies at the heart of the composition. The exhausted traveller leans into the angel’s protection while light breaks through the darkness around them. The angel is not presented as delicate or ornamental, but as a commanding guardian — strong enough to carry, protect and deliver.

Rich shadow, warm divine light and restrained earth tones give the work the drama of a classical biblical painting while preserving the intimate, human character of the Siloam collection.

Charge Over Thee is a reminder for the difficult seasons of life:

You may feel weary without being unguarded.

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Psalm 91:11

THE SILOAM STANDARD

Every Siloam artwork is created to be experienced as a piece of art, not simply reproduced as a poster.

Your Charge Over Thee is produced as a fine-art giclée print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, chosen for its beautifully soft texture, exceptional tonal depth and ability to reproduce the dramatic light, deep shadow and painterly detail of the original work.

Each print is professionally presented in a solid wood frame from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards and selected to complement the artwork without competing with it.
